    Happy new year to all!!

My Win7-64 desktop computer has been very reliable over the years. I went to use my trusty Roxio Creator media program to copy an audio CD (after having not used it for 4 or 5 months) and it gave me a BSOD error stating the issue was with a driver called pxhLpa64.sys. I repeated itself numerous times so I deleted the software using Revo Uninstaller set at Moderate cleaning, then reinstalled Roxio to no benefit. I made sure the Roxio supplied driver was uninstalled and reinstalled fresh. I updated the graphics card driver from NVidia's website. Latstly, I had a RAM stick go bad a rew months ago out of a 2 stick module and I am now running on a single 8Gb stick with zero errors acc to memtest86.

I ran my usual software, Malwarebytes and TFC. Mbam was clear and TFC cleared 1Gb in temps. No malware indications.

Thanks to MOD for fixing the title!

Now I am stuck on what to do next.

    Any suggestions? Thanks, Larry

I tried the clean boot but ended up with stalled Windows boot ups. So, I ended up doing a System Restore and the boot up Repair process to get back to normal. After that 3 hour calamity (with a good dose of worry/uncertaiunty), I am just going to dump Roxio and move on to CD Burner XP for my CD cutting needs. May come back to haunt me later, but suits me at this time. Thanks anyways.
