RL, reading the various replies, it appears there is no solution as at the present time. I certainly myself, close any open programs prior to my closing down the computer. As it is at the moment, will have to manually continue carry out my close down procedure and at each boot up close the offending window showing. Merry Xmas to all.

    Bobby try this:
To prevent apps from running in the background use the following steps:
    1. Open Settings.
    2. Click on Privacy.
    3. Click on Background apps.
    4. On the "Background apps" page use one of the two options: Turn off the Let apps run in the background toggle switch to disable all apps acquired from the Store.

RL Thanks, certainly will try out your postings and get back with result. There could be other side effects relating to other Windows settings.

You're seeing a problem before one occurs. I only have 3 MS jobs running in Startup!

RL, not pushing my luck, problem not showing. My Startup has only three entries. As we say here, you also have a "Guid new year and may your lum reek". Bobby.
