Resolved Windows 10 not remembering audio settings

Hi, first i reset windows 10 because windows explorer kept opening up at startup. i searched and could not find a solution. after the full reset, now my windows won't remember my audio settings each time i reboot. i like to keep my system muted until i use it. do i have to do another reset?

Are you saying that the Volume control in the Systray won't stay at zero settings?
What have you set the Defaults to?

 

Since you did a reset you may need to reinstall the Audio driver.

 

I finally figured it out, I updated my audio drivers and that seemed to work. Thanks for the reply.
