I have a Filco Keyboard, one of its Keys shows [4 $ Euro]. As a matter of interest, click the 4 and Shift+$ work as normal, what key is required for the Euro symbol? Bobby.

Try Alt + number or Ctl + Alt + E

:( Filco makes at least 18 different keyboards. The model number would be nice.

    What does your manual say?

Every keyboard I have ever seen that has multiple function/purpose keys has a separate key to switch function modes. Some use a Fn key as commonly found on notebook keyboards. My Microsoft keyboard has F Lock key to flip the function of the 12 F keys.

If you look at this Filco board, for example (hover over keys to enlarge image), it has a Fn key under the right side Shift key.

And if that all fails, the euro symbol (€) = ALT + 0128 :)

Bill, lack of thinking on my part. Filco Majastouch CKTL15 Tactile Blue Keys, UK layout. Shift key +any key 1-0 key (Shift+4 = $ shown).. There is no Fn key under right side of Shift Key, well not on this model. No Manual was included with keyboard when delivered.
TonyT, suggestion, produced nothing that I can see. I clicked key Alt+4 shows the € key. Your suggestion has indeed solved my question, many thanks. Bobby.

My Microsoft keyboard (Wireless Comfort 5050) does not have an AltGr key. On some keyboards, Ctrl + Alt is a substitute for AltGr (not on my keyboard, however).

If I want the Euro symbol, like Arie, I just enter Alt 0128. You just need to remember that Num Lock must be On. Alt 0163 gets you the £ symbol. I also frequently use Alt 0177 for ± and Alt 230 for µ too.
