Resolved videos not playing in Edge or IE

    I have a Win 10 Pro machine (Windows Version 1709 build 16299.461) that will not play YouTube video in Edge or IE.

    Videos play in Chrome

    Have run MalwareBytes - clean
    Run Ccleaner
    Uninstalled and reinstalled updated audio driver
    Reinstalled Edge

    Run out of ideas from all online searches. Would welcome other input.

    Try adding googlevideo.com and google.com to the IE Trusted Sites zone.

    Do you receive an error message or do the videos just not play? Have you tried another browser besides IE & Edge to be sure the problem is not the video itself?

    I took retiredlearner's advice and installed VLC.
