    Typing .jpg shows caption Windows unable to find any reference to .jpg. Webcam photos taken does not show where saved other than under Camera option.

    If it shows under the Camera option then what does it say?

    Sorry but this is all rather confusing. If there are NO .jpgs on this computer then the pictures must be saved as some other type of picture file.

    There are many others;
    BMP, TIFF, PNG, GIF are some of the others.

    Bobby, have you had a look in your AutoPlay settings?
    Open Control Panel > AutoPlay > Choose what to do with each type of media > Pictures?
    I'm amazed you haven't found any trace of the pictures you have taken with your webcam.
    They have to be somewhere on your C: drive.

    I agree this is most exasperating, I have never found pictures in Roll Camera. MS appears to save the three copies shown on Welcome screen, where they are stored by MS remains a mystery except to Windows 10. Since the latest version of Windows 10 1809 in May, find many of my saved workings no longer work and indeed each time visit MS site, current password is rejected, requirement of a new PW be submitted. MS chat is trying to solve this one, passed it to the Higher Level, as they call it. Email from MS today, informs me they are still working on this issue.

    I hope your 1809 is a typo! My Insider comp has the latest version and build which is 1803 and 17677.1000.
    I think your W10 OS must be corrupted in some way as the problems you are having cannot be aligned with the way my 3 W10 comps are operating!
    You have an empty Camera Roll, Search can't find any .jpg and now your MS Password is being rejected.:eek:o_O.

    Any help here?
    That password is incorrect error during Windows 10 sign in

    rl thanks for information. Myself have not Server on computer and Virgin use IMAP as you will know this already. Password set in Outllook.com two days ago is still standing firm, certainly will not hold my breath on this being permanently.
