Stop e-mail attachments from automatically opening and/or downloading?

    Is there a way to stop e-mail attachments from automatically opening and/or downloading?

    Sorry about that. I am running Netscape 7.0 and use the default mail program.

    Hi ArtTeacher

    The short answer... NO
    You can leave message's ON the sever (only use to sync two computers), but you can NOT read messages via Netscape email client while they sit on your ISP's server ... BUT... If you use Netscape WEBmail, you can look at your mail at the URL view. Also many ISP's provide a URL view to your POP mail. If you want to read / inspect your POP mail via the email client at the ISP server, there are programs available. Post back if this is what you need.
