I searched this topic and did what was said to do and I still do not get any options upon right click. The computer use to do this but that was a long time ago. Any suggestion you may have would greatly appreciated. I so miss the option to safe erase with right click. Yes windows was update again today, the safe erase program was updated again today- mouse was updated again today- sould it be the mouse?

Thank you kindly in advance- you people rock!

First step is to establish if the fault lies in the mouse or in the computer, starting with the mouse (wired or wireless?)

The right click button contacts on your mouse may have failed - have you checked out the mouse on another computer and have you tried another mouse on your computer?

Wired mouse. I will obtain a new mouse tomorrow and try it out.
    Until then,
I thank you kindly and will keep you posted.

Have you tried going into the Control Panel and switching the mouse buttons?

Thank you kindly! It seems to be the mouse. I purchased a wireless and right click now works!

This group REALLY rocks for any of us out here that know nothing about computers etc.
