    Hi guys

For this assignment, I would image if i have a window 10 eg 1703 version on a pendrive, if i can connect with a a adaptor (micro-USB to USB) to the only port of the tablet, it MAY boot into installation mode as in normal laptop or desktop.

But due to no experience yet, questions to the people before me are
    1. What is the connector from UBS to the small input port of tablet
    2. Is the tablet set to default boot up from a UBS, if not how to set the get to the bios to setup??
    3. Is this the easiest way similar to laptop or i have to relearn the whole process

    Salute the people ahead.

Answers depend on the brand and model of the tablet.

Thanks guys sorry for the delay to response.

Neil, right?, hardware as in connectors is my secondary issue. I am trying to reinstall win 10 from a bootable pendrive for a Acer tablet. Tony hope you can take me through the process if you have done it before. If you have not done it on an Acer, just share whatever you have done before. Thank you.

Your question on connectors was #1 on your list.
You will need to advise what your Tablet Model and type are as Tony requested.

I have a Lenovo TAB3 7 Essential which runs Android and the OTG I use enables me to plug in a USB thumb (pen) drive.
I use VLC for Android to view what my dash cam has stored on a flash card.
I download the flash card to the USB thumb drive then connect the drive via the OTG cable to my Lenovo tablet.
The tablet recognizes the drive and after viewing - I open android Settings and Storage and Unmount the drive.

If your Tablet is running W10 - the explanation and set up will be similar but dedicated to Windows operation.

Sorry for being late again it is
Acer ICONIA Tab A700-10k32u 10.1-Inch Tablet

Neil don't understand the flash card part, do you have to use a flash card. I would imagine something similar to laptops but as there is no keyboard, i have a mental block on how to do it. So Tony please show how. Thank you guys.

Your Acer Iconia TAB A7 runs Android version 4.4 (KitKat). I don't believe you can run W10 1703 in an Android environment.
Do you know if someone else has done this?
The memory in these Tablets is run in a Flash card of fixed size eg. 8GB or 16GB up to a max size determined by the manufacturer and the capability of the internals.
The manufacturer will also advise how much extra storage can be installed (usually in MicroSD card) and the max GB size you can install.
This may also be in an SD card size if the slot is provided for it.
You do have a keyboard in your Tablet - it's in Android for composing messages and email through Google.
There are Apps you can install to do various tasks, but I suppose you already know that.
The OTG cable connectors will enable external USB storage to be connected but only within the max size the Tab can handle.
