I found this in W10 "Insider" advice and wondered whether the same could apply to normal W10.
Members who have problems after a 'clean install' may try and leave their comp running for at least 24 hours and see if everything settles down properly.

Too bad those instructions are not specific. Does "turned on" mean it is necessary to disable sleep modes? I would hope not.

I would imagine that the update would 'turn on' (wake up) your sleeping comp if it needs 24 hours to complete it's 'target' during idle time of your PC.

That's my thought too - especially since sleep modes are enabled by default. But I still think they should be more clear. I don't think "run during idle time" and "Please leave your PC turned on" suggests letting it go to sleep is okay.
