I have an old XP PC at home that I no longer need so I'm looking to install some flavor on Linux on it and sell it.

How can I securely erase the hard drive before I install a new OS?

Ideally, I'd like to have something I can run from a usb thumb drive where I can run it a couple of times.

OK, that looks like it'll give me a bootable usb stick. What's the easiest way to "burn" that DBAN iso to a usb? Is there a utility that comes with Windows 7?

Hi magenta. Use this tool, ISOtoUSB.
