New version of Malwarebytes available

A new version of Malwarebytes is available. The download and installation are easy and don't take long, but reading the list of all the improvements in the new version takes quite a while.

 

It would probably be best if you listed the versions so folks can see if they are current. The program itself does not always report updates are out there (due to metering, not a bug).

The latest I am showing is:

Malwarebytes version: 3.1.2.1733
Component package version: 1.0.141
Update package version: 1.0.2170​

 

Am downloading the new one now. The old 3.0 didn't update to the 3.1 Be sure to check for updates as soon as you download the new version as there are some as usual.

 

It did eventually. You just had to wait it out. They metered the distribution to prevent over loading their servers, and then they delayed it a bit more due to more problems.

 

I didn't wait when it didn't update Had this happen before when they went from 2 to 3. Just went to their website and downloaded it straight out.
