I am trying to ceated a partion using Ghost GDISK.EXE. I want the partion to be 40% of the exsisting drive and I must be doing something wrong cause I can't get it to run
Here is the tag I'm using from a c: prompt.

    gdisk 1 /cre /ext [/sz: pcent{40%}}] [/end] [/for [/q] [/v[:lableE]]]

It comes back "gdisk (E) Too many parameters [/sz: pcent{40%}}]. I had to put a space after the colon because it put a smiley when I posted.
I have tried a number of different combos, but just can't seem to get it. Anyone see what I am doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Joe

If it's like the old algebra equations....must close each one of (), {}, [] you open..... You have 1 too many '}' after the 40%.

    Just a shot

    Thanks

I am so rusty with DOS, but figured it out.

    gdisk 1 /cre /ext / log /40p /end /for /q /v:label
    worked.
That part of the Ghost instruction manual would be useless to someone without experience.
    Thanks,
    Joe

    Don't Know?

I did not use one {} in the tag that worked. Just treated it like a old DOS swicth and it worked.
What do you call those things anyway?LOL
    Thanks,
    Joe
