Resolved My computer is not downloading update although it says they are available

My win 10 desktop is not downloading updates even though it says they are available , I have clicked download updates but nothing seems to download, it just stays at 0%

Check the properties of the connection and see your's is set to Metered connection. Turn it off, if it is on.

I have left the pc on for 2hrs and it has finally downloaded the updates and installed them

Yes, seen the same here at times. No sign of any action for a long time and then, off it goes. Always assumed that the server was "busy" or somesuch.
