    HI,

I am having some difficulty with trying to setup a VPN server on a Windows 2000 Server DC.

Ok, so here is the setup, The internet access is provided through a ADSL router connected to the central hub, The server is connected to the internet, but because it is a routed connection, there is not "dial up connection" in dial up networking... So, when I start the RRAS MMC, and try to set the server up as a VPN server, there is no connection for me to select..

Does anyone have any ideas ??

    Thanks.

RRAS is not just for dial-up. You configure your VPN through it. Skip the RRAS configure wizard and pick manual. You will be given 5 PPTP and 5 L2TP connections. Adjust the number of connections for your environment.
You also need to make sure your router is configured to pass PPTP packets to your VPN server.
L2TP is very nice, but more complicated to configure.
