UBB Code to e-mail

    I'm trying to determine if there is a way by which I can take a UBB link and put the image represented by that link into an e-mail where the image will appear when the e-mail is opened. The only way that I have found so far is to post the UBB link as an attachment. I use Win98SE IE 6.0 OE 6. I have HTML enabled.
    I have no problem posting to a forum such as this and having the image appear.

    I just cannot seem to make it work in OE or with Yahoo.

    Any help gratefully appreciated.

    Are you trying to insert a picture in an email and make it a hyperlink that is clickable?
    If so.........
    Open outlook Express.
    Create a new mail.
    Insert your picture.
    click on the picture.
    Go up to insert......then hyperlink.....and type in your address.

    Thanx Daizy but what I want to do is take an image that is in UBB Code and insert it into an e-mail so that it will appear in the open in the e-mail when it, the e-mail, is opened. I do not want to put the UBB Coded link in the e-mail

    1. You cannot use UBB code in email messages. UBB code is exclusive to the Ultimate Bulletin Board software such as was used at this web site at one time. This site now uses the vBulletin software and it has it's own special codes that can be used in the forums.

    2. Email can use two basic formats, plain text and HTML. You CAN use html code in an email.

    3. You CAN insert an image in an e-mail and have it appear in the message body IF the email is sent in HTML (or rich text) format.

    4. You can also send an image or web page in an email. If you have images hosted on a server somewhere, view the image in your browser and then use the Tools Menu\Mail and News\Send Page.
