This doesn't seem to work on my laptop, running Windows 10 Home, version 1607. Has something changed from version 1511 which, at the time of Evans post, was the current version?

In Windows 10 Professional, there are two ways, GPEDIT and REGEDIT but in the Home version, there is no GPEDIT.

Yes, I have googled and I have followed the same instructions as those in your link which is the REGEDIT way, available in the Home version but I can't see any difference if I turn it OFF or ON.

Hi Christer. That method that I linked to will no longer work with the Windows 10 anniversary update which is build 1607. However there is a new way to disable it.

You can still remove the stupid lock screen, but its a bit more complicated now. See this link, Disable the Windows 10 Lock Screen (Anniversary Update).

    Hi Evan,

It seems, on a first glance, to be a policy edit (and more) which is not available in W10 Home edition but I'll take a closer look later.
