    COMPUTER LOCKS UP ON INTERNET + OFF INTERNET.MOUSE BEGINS TO ACT STRANGE.WHEN CLICKING ON ICON COMPUTER STARTS TO FALL BEHIND THEN EVENTUALLY CRASHES.THEN FREEZES AND I HAVE TO RESET TO START AGAIN.REPEATS PROCESS AFTER APPROX 20 TO 30 MINS OF USE.HAVE I AQUIRED A VIRUS OR IS SOMETHING ELSE WRONG.PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN.

    Welcome to the boards. Would you be able to do an online virus scan at Housecall before your computer locks up?
    After a fresh boot, do a ctrl/alt/del and list for us what you have in your close programs dialogue box?

    Take a look at the CPU fan. If it's coated in dust these problems will occur when the Temp. Rises too high.
    or
    It could be one of a zillion other problems. :(
