    Hi,
When I hit Start, All Programs, I end up with Four vertical columns of program listings but the fourth column is part way off the screen to the right.
Is there any way to correct this so you can read the programs in the fourth column?
    Thanks for any help. :(

There are two ways (I know of) to do what you want.

One is to create folders on the Start Menu and put related programs into folders...like all multimedia applications in a Multimedia folder, all office apps into an Office folder, all internet-related apps in an Internet folder, etc. That will reduced the number of entries on the Start Menu and get the columns down to three or less, which will fit on your screen.

The other way is to increase the screen resolution so that more will fit in the same space. Of course, that means everything will be smaller but it should let all four columns of the start menu display fully.

    Hi Miz,
    Thanks for the reply.
Don't know what I'll try yet.
I don't want to change resolution.
You would think Microsoft would have provided for this situation.
    Thanks again

Right click Start button; Select Properties; On the Start menu tab push the Customize button; then select the Advanced tab; Put a check mark in Scroll Programs.

I don't need it yet on my XP, but changed to the scroll method anyway. It will be a matter of time when it will be required. BUT... have the same view problem on my old w95 box. Is there a "scroll" option for w95?

Was kind'a worried about that. Guess I'll use the "Folder" method suggested by miz.
    Thank you to you both
