    Hello,
For a while, I've been getting occasional emails that were suspicious, and when I ran my Norton, it detected viruses.

What's unusual now is that those emails are from addresses in my OutLook Express address book. I don't know if that's abehaviour specific to any virus in particular. I am not even sure if that means there's something on my machine, or whether it's coming from a friend's computer who has a similar address book.

When you ran Norton's did it give you the name of the virus it found? Have you had a clean run since?
You might want to double check by doing a free online scan at: Housecall ?
