Hi All, The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
Event log says 49 freezes since 17/03/2016
I have followed this guide from Microsoft https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2028504 to no avail. The only thin I haven't done is remove the processor and apply new terminal paste, this is because there are no over temp issues.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks in Advance

That does not tell us anything because we don't know what you tried, or what you might have missed. So what have you done thus far in an attempt to fix this problem?

And it is good that you have not removed the processor and applied new TIM (thermal interface material) because there is rarely ever a need to do so. TIM does not wear out or become less effective by any significant manner over time and will easily last 10 or 15 years or even longer AS LONG AS the cured bond between the mating surfaces is not broken.

Since the purpose of the TIM is to fill ONLY the microscopic pits and valleys in the mating surfaces, even if the TIM dries out, the solid materials remain behind and prevent insulating air from getting in. The liquid portion of the TIM is only to make the application smooth and easy. If you need the extra 5° or so a new application of TIM gives you maintain system stability and full throttle speeds, then you have other heat/cooling issues to address first.

    Have you scanned for malware?
Have you swapped in a known good power supply?
Is the system clean of heat trapping dust and dirt?
    Are all fans spinning properly?
What are your temps and what are you using to monitor them?
    Is Windows fully updated?
    Any errors in Device manager?
Have you tested your RAM? I recommend MemTest86. Allow the diagnostics to run for several passes or even overnight. You should have no reported errors. Alternatively you can pull half your RAM run with that, swapping in the other and see if any fail.

and yes I've tried all the above, I keep my machine clean inside and outside, when I checked the inside there was barely any dust, as I clean it every 3 months.

I'm using a Crosair HX 520 power supply which is more than enough for my power consumption. I have covered all the basics, so thats why I'm here looking for some more direction....I did upgrade to win 10 to see if that would change things but nada...same issues, could be a component failure on the mother board???

    Thanks again...

Unless you tell us what you did, we cannot assume that. We have no way of knowing if you know what the basics are! That's not a dig at you personally - that is just the way it is.

There are all kinds of things that can cause a computer to improperly shut down. In fact, this is one of the most difficult problems to troubleshoot simply because there are so many different possible causes.

    So I ask again,
Did you try a different power supply to verify the problem is not this one failing?
    Did you test your RAM?
    What are your temps?

It should be noted that no software based memory tester is conclusive. If they report errors, the RAM is bad. But they may, in some cases, not report errors and the RAM still fails when installed or when paired with other RAM. To conclusively test your RAM, you need to use sophisticated and very expensive test equipment, like this $4,000 Eureka Express DDR3 DIMM Memory Module Tester. But still, MemTest reporting no errors is a good sign. And of course, running with no problems overnight with a new PSU is a great sign too.

No issues with your temps so it looks like, at this point, the PSU was the issue.
