When saving an Excel worksheet to DVD it shows the current date. When saving the same file to hard drive the date is not current, but from previous change some weeks ago. How to show current date when saving to both DVD and hard drive?

Addendum to earlier post - all other Excel worksheets save to hard drive and DVD with current date.

    Try this:
    1) Copy the data from the workbook you need to save with the updated date.
    2) Once you've copied the data, open a new workbook.
    3) Paste the data to the new workbook. You probably have formulas, formats, etc. so you may need to use copy special to copy formats, etc. Otherwise, copy special-> values. This copies only the values without formulas, formats, etc.
    4) Now save to your DVD and/or hard drive.
    5) IF the above steps didn't work, try saving the workbook as an older version of Excel. That may work.

    Good luck.
