For some unknown reason my computer wont boot normally. The boot sequence seems to have changed After the bios loads, I get a message that the CPU couldn't find my OS looking on the first device in the menu. I have to reboot and go into the bios and manually find the correct HD which is listed second in the boot menu. I would think it should be in the first position.

Different things can cause this. It would be helpful to know more about your system. Probably a boot file or something on your hard drive has become corrupted. Do you have a multi-boot system? The main hard drive is not always the first item listed in the BIOS. It may check for other temporary boot drives first, like a DVD.

Disconnect ALL peripherals (USB drives) and see if that helps. Neil.
