I notice that Win7 only makes auto restore points on a weekly basis.
How do I change this so it makes them on a daily basis? (Win7-Pro 64)

Why would you want daily restore points? Are you making that many changes to your system?

You do know that system restore is not a substitute for a backup right?

And if you make daily restore points, you'll probably run out of space pretty soon, at which point SR will start deleting the older restore point, meaning that you'll not have many old ones to go back to, should the need arise.

I can't remember the last time I had to use SR.

    Arie,

    It's good hearing from you.

I'm not making that many changes but I like to be able to go back to the previous day(s) if I have a problem, just in case - which is rare. Who really knows when/where something may screw things up? I limit the space to 10% and don't care if the older ones get deleted.

I also make multiple backups/copies every day both to an external drive, the cloud etc.

    Have a great weekend,

    Rob
