Resolved Minesweeper

okay, so here is my issue:
the game cheats!
i have followed the rules, click on a box and you get either a blank box, a number or a mine.
now the number is supposed to equal the number of mines touching that box, right?
well on more than one occasion i have gotten a number and based on the #s around it, determined that a particular square is clear, only to find a mine and the #ed boxes didn't tell the truth...

i like the game, but if the rules are not followed, the game becomes nothing more than a time waster. with winning being no more than shear luck

 

I've never had this issue. It would have been nice if you took a screenshot though. Maybe there's a reasonable explanation.

 

if you will notice, (sorry if it is grainy) 3 blue squares in the "upper center "
the green two in row one should be a three, the green two two rows down should be a three, the red three two more rows down, should be a four !
