Resolved Screen saver turns screen grey and freezes

    Hello Forum: When I close out all programs and leave the desk top up, occasionally when the screen saver (set black 4 Minutes) tries to come on, it turns grey and freezes. Have to turn power off and reboot. Then every thing is Ok for several days. Advice appreciated.

    Hi cbumpkin. Does the screensaver freeze if you choose a different screensaver option?

    You might try Performing a clean boot in Windows and see if the same issue occurs without any extra 3rd party programs running in the background.

    Evan; I changed screensavers. It may take several days before it acts up again. I will mark this thread resolved and if it does not solve the problem I will start the thread again
