Ad-aware does not show up in the add/remove programs list, so how do I remove it? I have been searching lavasoft's website and the internet in general for three hours and have not found the answer. No, it does not show up in the add/remove programs list in the control panel. Thanks, Buzz

Don't know why it doesn't show up in your Control Panel's Add/Remove. It does in mine.

    What version were you using?

Have you tried using any third party uninstallers?

At any rate open Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder that Ad Aware was installed in to and you should see a file called "Unwise.exe. Double clicking on this should lead you through the uninstaller process.

If the Unwise file is not there I would suggest that you download Ad Aware again, reinstall it and then uninstall it. With any luck a reinstall would place Ad Aware in Control Panels Add/Remove.

    Success

Rod, I just followed the procedure you gave me (the unwise.exe file) and it worked perfectly. Thanks again. Buzz
