Resolved Problems with Windows Games-pre-installed

    Hello,

    I have no clue what has gone wrong, but for the past week or so, I am no longer able to play either the regular solitaire game (Klondike) or the MaJong games that came pre-installed on my computer. Up till then, they worked just fine, and I am able to sign into my account, but the games will not run.

    I understand this is not a major or serious concern, and that many others do have serious problems, but if someone might have a clue as to what is happening or why, and the time to help, I would greatly appreciate it. I don't spend that much time playing the games, only a few times a week, but I do enjoy them occasionally, and would like to get them working again. Rebooting the computer did not solve the problem.

    Hi Sandie. If the games do not run then you might consider reinstalling them by using this link, 40 FREE Store games for Windows including new and classic ones, scroll down and install the games that were giving you trouble. Hopefully the games install with no issues and you will be able to play them again.

    Hello Evan,

    Call me just plain stupid. I shut down (not just restart) my computer, waited about a minute, then turned it on again, and guess what happened??

    You got it, I am now signed in to my games and they are loading just fine. Don't have a clue what the glitch was, but it's working now.

    Thank you very much for your suggestion, and if this problem comes up again, I will definitely do just as you suggested.
