I had Organiser on my XP.
How do I transfer or install on my new PC with Windows 10 [64]?

    Any offers?

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

Lotus Organizer runs fine on Windows 10 - I have version 5.03 installed. If you have the original installation disk - I installed from a Lotus Smartsuite CD - install in Compatibility Mode for XP.

Once installed copy over the .ORG5 file to the new PC and point Organizer to it.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.
My Lotus disk is Millennium edition - release 9.0

I tried to install from Smart Suite disk into my Windows 10, but it failed. How do I install in Compatability mode for XP on the new PC? It is already in that form on my old PC.

How do I find the .ORG5 file, please?

Coincidentally my Lotus disk is also the Millenium Edition v 9.7

Insert the CD into the drive and open in File Explorer to view contents

Right click on setup.exe > Properties > Compatibility tab. Check 'Run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows XP SP3 from the dropdown list. Close Properties.

Double click on setup.exe and choose Custom and select Organizer only - unless you want other components of Smartsuite.

The file with your Organizer details is an .OR5 file - not .ORG5 as I previously noted - my bad :(. On my installation I have that file on my data drive which is backed up hourly, but the default location in XP is C:\lotus\work\organize.
