Hi, can anybody help, I had a recent problem with my mouse sticking periodicly, this seemed to be a ram problem, on one incident i had to cut power and wait the thirty secs, and switch back on. Now my mouse is ok, but my screen saver and other programes now have colours that are all washed out, but not when useing games. ?. thanks peter

Right click on the desktop. select Properties, and click on Settings tab. You will see a section named Colors. If it says 16 Colors, left click on the little arrow there and select 16, 24 or 32 bit, depending on your preference and/or video card abilities. You should get the option to apply settings now or restart with new settings. At this point I would choose the restart.
If not able to, go into Control Panel\System Properties, click on Device Manager, then look for yellow ! or ? on any devices.
    Post back, good or bad.
