    Hi again :)

Funny things again in my computer...I was playing Flight Sim 2000, and right in the middle of the game, a fatal error came up, net-detect or something like that....also saw kernel.dll...yerkkk....anyway...close, re-open, close, reboot...etc...the rest of the day was allright, then I went on the net...connecting on a video chat place, using net-meeting, wow...the computer hang-up for 30 sec...went on system monitor, the cpu was 100% busy....

now: how do I see WHO is doing that...
    and Why net-meeting causes computer hang-up :(

    thank you
    happy new year
    JP

    ok,

I did a search here on kernell32..and came up with a sugg. to look at infotask2000 (now 2003), I loaded the thing and it showed netmeeting taking all my cpu usage to 100% in cycles of 1:45 min, now ..why ??

    Are you on CABLEMODEM?

Suggestion: Disconnect cable modem from it's power source.
    Effectively shutting it down.
    SHut down computer.

    Wait 30 seconds or more.

    Plug CABLEMODEM back in.

    Let it re-set itself.

    Turn computer on.

    Re-install NETMEETING.
Go t0 that gaming site and log in a complaint about unknown user, they may have other complaints and be able to track it.

It appears you may be thinking that someone is hacking into your system through Netmeeting as a result of you playing a game online with other users through it and one of the other users is a no-good slimeball hacking into people's systems.
    Could be.

Re-initializing the above may help you appear as a different person. Your Cablemodem is supposed to come up with a different address when it's re-set, {depending on your providers arrangement} If it doesn't do it automatically, you can always call up your ISP and ask for a new address to be assigned because of this problem.
    IF its a hacker.

Could be though that Netmeeting got locked on that game and thinks it's still playing it! Like in STAR TREK: TNG when Picard got locked into the Holodeck and thought he was running the Enterprise when in fact he was trapped into the Holodeck by Moriarity.
