When I updated to Win 10 build 10586, my on board Ethernet didn't work. I rolled back to the previous build and ordered a PCIe Ethernet card. Today the card arrived. I installed it and want to do the update to build 10586 again, but when I check for updates, it says I'm up to date. If I run winver, it reports build 10240. If I run winver on my other desktop, it reports build 10586.3. How do I update to build 10586 if the check for updates reports that my device is up to date?

I think when you roll back it thinks you didn't want it. Perhaps you can use the Media Creation Tool to download it again.

MasterChief, you are probably correct. I thought I could make it easier though. I make an image of my C: drive once a week. Fortunately, I have most of my data on drive D:. I did a restore of the last image I made before I had the problem, but it still didn't update to the latest build. It still claims I'm up to date. Now I'll have to find the build 10586 ,iso and update from that. I wonder where the setting is that said I rolled back? I'd like to uncheck that setting.
