I wanted to restore the system to a back date & it keeps saying that I have no checkpoints. in win7 I could restore from a date but not with win 10. Why is this?

Try creating a restore point and see if that works.

I thought about that but I was hoping I could go back to a date. I'll give it a try then get back to you.
