for IE. I didn't mean to, just couldn't find how to uninstall it. Anyway, I've learned my lesson-AGAIN.

I posted in the XP section too but this is the first problem.

I need to find out how to reinstall IE on my computer. I have a brand new comp with XP on it. I tried to install an earlier version of IE but it said that I had a newer version and couldn't proceed. So I tried to install the newest version and it says it hasn't passed the "logo testing" and cannot proceed. So, I cannot install the darned thing again.

Now, can I do a complete uninstall/delete files in order to get it to work? I need it b/c a lot of programs require it.... I didn't realize it. I can't do a system restore because I get a blank screen and can't get into the system information b/c it need IE too.

Man, I ******* this one up. Without doing a clean OS install, is there another way???

    Thanks everyone!!

Hi give this a try Re-install IE - Go to Start/Run, and type: "rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\inf\ie.inf" press enter.
