Do I REALLY have to have THREE different browsers??? For several years, I've used IE (version 11 recently) to access the e-mail account for our family messages and Google Chrome for e-mails related to outside the family stuff.

Now that those encephallophallics in Redmond not only downloaded Win 10, but started it running without my permission and appear to have wiped off Win 8.1, I can't access the e-mail account for the family stuff that was previously accessed through IE11.

Right now, i'm thinking of disabling Edge and going back to IE11, but I'm not even sure IE11 will run under Win 10. To say that I'm VERY angry with MS is a serious understatement!!! An Apple computer looms ever larger in my future view.

    Any ideas, guys?

Try using IE 11 in W10. When you open Edge > click on three dots upper right > Open in Internet Explorer.
Also you can try using > Settings > Accounts > Sync to bring your previous settings into W10. Neil.
    KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON.

IE is still part of Win 10. Works well in it.

Do note that nothing was done without months of notice - or a way to prevent it. W10 is a more secure OS and MS would, and rightfully so, IMO, be blamed for shoving W10 on us then continually be blamed for the security mess the "badguys" (not MS) put us in.

As noted, IE is still there in W10. Start typing default in your Start menu then follow the prompts to set your default programs. You should see Internet Explorer in the left column, from there you can set it as your default browser.

No. Only 1. Same as it's always been.

Actually, Bill, I've had Chrome and IE running side by side for several years. IE is hooked to our more private "family" e-mail account and Chrome to the e-mail we use for on-line shopping and non-family things.

I'm going to try your method for getting IE back up and relegate "Edge" to the trash-can.

Neil - I've tried your suggestion without success so far.

I've had IE, Chrome, FF and PM running side by side for years (and now with W10, Edge too). But not the point.

99% of the time I use IE and I only fire up one of the others to verify if a site I cannot access with IE is down, or to reference the other browsers when helping folks with their issues.

YOUR question was, "Do I REALLY have to have THREE different browsers???" My answer was correct, and still is correct; "No. Only 1. Same as it's always been. "
