   Hi guys
   
   Looking for a replacement for net send that can cross all versions of windows.
   
   I am thinking of lan messager, wonder if this needs installation in all pcs. If so, is there are another that don't need installation at destination pcs.

   Apparently no install needed. This is from the readme:
   
   

   Obviously all computers would need to have the program's files, else how could a comp communicate with another? Just extract the files from the zip download on each comp and create a shortcut to lmc.exe and put that shortcut in the Start menu, on the Desktop, etc.
