Resolved photo viewe wont open JPG file

    when I try to open JPG file photo viewer says says "either photo viewer does not support this format or you don't have the latest photo viewer updates ". I can't find where to update photo viewer. I have used Photo viewer to open JPG files before. Thanks for any help.

    Can you open the file with anything else?

    Was the file converted from some other format?

    EDIT: Can you open other JPG files?

    Jpg files

    I don't have anything else installed to open this file. Please suggest another program
    The file was not converted
    cannot open any JPG files. Get same message

    Right click on the file and select Open With.

    You should at least see PAINT.

    This gives me paint plus 3 0ter options. win. media player, windows media center, Win. media config.. center. non will open the JPG file. I have many digital camera pictures of the family and friends I sure do hate to loose them.

    Hawk 22: Sorry about the delay getting back to you. Been in Docs. office for the last 2 days. Thanks so very much for the link. I downloaded and have opened every file I have tried. You are the man. I will mark Solved and close out. Johhnny
