I tried to download apps from the Windows store on my PC, and as it tries to install it, it stops and gives me this error: "Well, this is embarrassing " and has a "see details " link which, when I click it, it says: "we can't find the app. The error code is 0x80070002 in case you need it " This is happening with every app I try to download. I searched for this error code on Google and tried the solutions that were suggested through various links with no resolution to the problem. Before I upgraded to Win 10 I had Win 8.1 and had no problem installing apps. So this is a new problem for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestions in the link. I tried them and it didn't help unfortunately. Still getting the same problem. Just as an addition to this to let you all know, this also happened to me while using my Lenovo computer's companion app trying to install system updates. I first tried to install all that it found at once (around 166 MB in all) and the installation progression meter went up to 41% and stayed there. I took a nap figuring it was just allot of MB's to download and that's why it was taking so long. Well, I woke up like 3 hours later and checked the progress and it was still at 41% I shut down the companion and restarted the computer. I re-opened the companion app and searched for the updates again and the list came up showing that out of the 5 updates only one successfully installed. I decided to try installing the updates one at a time. This worked for 3 of the updates, but, one of them kept giving me that "well this is embarrassing " error. So this is seeming to be an update issue as well I'm guessing.

Thank you for the link. I tried what was suggested there but unfortunately it didn't work. So, I decided to just try a system restore and that actually solved the problem. Thank you to all who posted help for me, I appreciate it.
