For several weeks now I have been receiving rejected emails that I didn't send. They say return to sender, or something like that. I've deleted them all, but the next day there is another 50 to 100 in my inbox. We went on vacation for a week or so and when we checked email upon our return there were almost 800 of them. I was afraid maybe some kind of bot had taken over and was using my computer to send out emails. I contacted my ISP and changed my password, but they said there was no suspicious activity on my account. I've run two full virus scans with Norton and come up with nothing.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Anyone can configure their email to "spoof" another user.... And if emails bounce they bounce back to "you" in this example.

So since my scans came back negative, I can feel confident that my computer is safe? I guess I'll just chalk it up to being annoying. Maybe this will spur me to follow through with my plan to switch everything to my gmail account.
