Ok, in the RUN box, i type CMD then I run a ping command or any telnet command.........and it run's but is sooo fast and then clear's before anyone/me can see the results.

What switch could i use to pause/stop the results window..??

Try, Start > Run > and type cmd /? (Enter), and all the switches will be revealed. ;)

Also if you set the properties for your cmd window to make it long (300 or 400 lines for instance) and to only display 50, you will be able to scroll back to data that you would otherwise not see.
