Don't know if anyone has run into this before, but it's really puzzling me. I've got three different machines sharing my cable internet access. Win2k machine is connected to the cable modem with Internet Connection Sharing enabled. I've got a Win98 and Mac OSX machine networked into that one using the ICS to access the internet. I've had this running for some time. It seems over time, though, that access for the 98 and Mac has gotten worse. I can hit a site on the Win2k machine and then try that same site on one of the other two and just watch it sit there and load forever...never bringing up the site.

Is there something in the ICS configuration that I missed? I recently made sure I had all the current upgrades to all machines, but it doesn't seem to help. Anyone had this problem or something similar with ICS?

    I'd appreciate any input.

    Thanks

Can you ping these addresses from the command prompt (on the client)? You may have a bad entry in your windows\hosts file (if it exists) or a MTU issue.

Just wanted to say thanks. It was an MTU issue and once I was on that track I was able to find out a little bit more about the problem and fix it.

    I appreciate it.
