    Hi Max
Welcome to the boards. You could type it like this:
and save the text document with an .html extension instead?
Your email program should be html capable as well? You can make a new email message....copy and paste the addresses and save?

If you're new to html...... you might want to try using Microsoft Frontpage Express if it's installed on your computer?

Use <br> (line break) after each line to form a list, othewise they will all run into each other. For example, open Notepad, then type the following:
    then save as
    File Name: anything.htm
save as type: All Files (*.*)

Here is a site with an HTML practice window,so you can see what the above three lines will look like:

    http://home.ptd.net/~don5408/html101/html.html

    Just create as Alice shows.

They will never show as links in Wordpad or notepad which is a text editor.

So if you send to someone that has only Wordpad or Notepad then they will not show as links.

Use Wordpad save as file name.rtf and they will show up correctly in MS Word or WordPerfect or almost any fullfleged word procesor.

If you can get it into MS Word then save it as an HTML file and it will work for Internet Explorer.

Like Mike said, the hyperlinks will not show u in notepad or wordpad which is why I gave you the HTML practice site. I probably should have added:

You can test your .htm file by sending it to yourself as an e-mail attachment. When you open or preview the e-mail, the links should appear right inside the body of the e-mail. Your lecturer can also save the htm attachment then open the file in his web-browser (File, Open, Browse to the file)

M.carolan--I know you say you want to create active links. But if that is too hard to handle, either for you, the lecturer or your friends, you/they can always just send the web addresses as normal (unformatted is the technical word) type. Then, the recipient just has to copy each and paste it into the Address bar line of the browser and click Enter. (Of course, you do that, just one address at a time.)

    Thankyou for all your help.
