Error Number 0x800ccc0f (TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated)

Error Number 0x800ccc0f (TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated) is being shown in my Outlook. I have four accounts that feed into the program. Generally, it occurs after my Windows Explorer crashes, and it only effects one or two accounts.

If I restart my computer, it fixes the issue, but only until my WE crashes. The WE crash usually happens when I try to go through my folders. It doesn't always do it, but I can tell when it is getting ready to, the whole system stalls and then my task bar disappears as well as my quick launch icons. The system resets and will loose one or two icons from the task bar.

I use Windows XP Media Center SP3. My Outlook is 2000. I also use Outlook Express for a fifth email account, but it doesn't seem to bother it.

Thanks Neil. I had tried that a few times in the past, but it didn't work. I have even deleted the account from Outlook and then reloaded, but no luck. It has to be something with my system just being a pain. Thanks.

 

Is there a "Repair" facility in Outlook? Neil.
