Have tried to install 98SE(full install) on 95b but keep getting a SUO168 warning.Thought i saw something about a incorrect version of setup.dll file will cause this problem. Is it a simple manner of rewriting this file in MS DOS?Is there another work around? If not, what would be the steps to correcting this file?
    Thank in advance.

If you have an OEM CD, it detected an operating system already installed and aborted. Rename the 95b win.com and winver.exe files to anything else and try the install again.
    To do this in dos:

    cd\windows
    ren win.com win.old
    ren winver.exe winver.old

You will have to install from dos. When running setup, check to make sure the install directory is C:\Windows, sometimes doing an upgrade like this will cause setup to install in C:\Windows001
    Good luck!
