Can anyone help me fix the at times squishy and other times overspread letters in my browser??

I tried in firefox and it looks fine there, its specific to chrome, but ive grown so used to chrome i dont want to switch back.

Whats strange is that in chrome, when i am on the normal news feed on facebook, my name is squishy. However, when I open up a game and the page is stretched, my name appears normal.

I havent installed anything or done anything different, havent messed with any font settings.

I do have the anti-alias disabled in windows entirely as i find it blurry, but that shouldnt matter. I have had that set since years ago.

attached is a photo of what im trying to describe.

ETA: This is not exclusive to facebook - it is happening on this site as well.

Looks fine to me. Have you tried another browser besides Chrome to see what happens?

I did mention that in firefox it does look fine. in the screenshot look at the name "joan" it looks more like Jo-an with no space between the J an O and a larger than normal space between O and A and then again no space between A and N.

I think I would uninstall Chrome and start again with a fresh copy of Chrome. Neil.

Back them up to a thumb drive. You could always import them to IE and that way you would have 2 copies on your PC at all times. They should be on one already as well as anything else important.
