Hi! I have no idea where to post this so I will start here. I am having a problem with my display. When I scroll up or down with the mouse or the side scroll bar I get double and more of the lines and images. They sometimes clear by moving the mouse around or by waiting but often requires a refreshing. It makes me think the refresh rate can't keep up but I don't know if that applies to a pc. If so is that adjustible? Input on this is requested. Thanks.

Change the routing of the cable that connects the computer to the monitor. Try to keep it away from other cables, power cord, etc. Don't have other cables crossing over it.

Make sure the connections are tight at both ends.

You should be able to right click on an empty part of the the display and have a menu come up where you can make changes to your settings.

Have you shut down the PC and then restarted it to see if it goes away? That is usually the first thing to do.

Hi! Unfortunately cable routing doesn't work to well on a laptop. Trying the refresh rate change, I only have a 60 Htz setting available to use. The driver is suppose to be up to date. I am going to look into that further.

It is not a problem to make it go away as I said in the post. It's just annoying and time consuming to deal with. Just now when I read the first post and used the wheel to scroll down the post was a jumble that you couldn't read. It often clears up on it's on I'm guessing the refresh rate catches up to it if that is the problem.

I looked into that a couple days ago and updated. I am going to look again.

I just looked into driver update and according to Intel Update Utility I have the current driver.

Refresh rate and resolution don't work the same way on an LCD as on a CRT. 60 Hz is standard. The specs say 1280 x 800 is your native resolution. You should stick with that.
