Resolved Acer 5733-7424 Laptop PXE-E61 Error

    I have an Acer Aspire 5733-6424 and the hard disk crashed. I ordered and installed a new identical hard disk and when I attempt to load my Windows 7 disk I receive an error, "PXE-E61 Media Test Failure - PXE-M0F "
    In BIOS the DVD is the first boot device, Network Boot is disabled and I can see the drive information in setup.
    Any assistance is appreciated.

    In the BIOS you'll need to make sure the HDD is booting before Network, LAN or anything like that.

    CD/DVD should be the first and HD second. LAN could/should be disabled.

    Yes, that is correct, DVD, HDD and Network/LAN is last.
    My recovery disk may be shot. Acer is going to send another.
