I have a local area network with 3 computers on it at home. One is the host for the other 2.

The host is a shared dialup internet connection. If the host is not connected and 1 of the networked computers starts up...the host will dialup. How can I figured out what program is casing the dialing? I have turned off autoupdate which I thought was the culprit...but wasnt.

    Its makin me crazy.

All 3 computers are running XP pro.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You could try using Zone Alarm. It will prompt you when a program wants to use the internet. It'll also block any programs that don't have permission.

You may need to buy their Pro version to get it to work properly on your network. I don't know because I'm not running a network at home. It's worth a try.
