:( When I receive pictures it opens up in paint and comes in by sections. How do I get the pics to open up in a different program and which program do you recommend?

IrfanView is a very good, unadorned, free imaging program. Click Options, Set File Associations, to choose which types of images you want to open in IrfanView:

To set pictures to be opened by another program rather than Paint, first you need to have another application that opens pictures such as, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Photo Editor ...

Once you have any of the above installed, go to any picture you have on your computer, highlight it, hold the shift key and right click on it. Then choose the 'Open With' option and locate the program that you would like to use to view images your with.

At the bottom of the dialog box there will be an option "Always use this program to open this type of files" and click next to it.
