Help! I just installed a GEForce 2MX/MX400 and now my sound blaster tells me there are not enough resources. That I must free up IRQ resources for the sound blaster to work. When I do troubleshooting it tells me that I may disable
    GeForce or
    Via Tech 3038 PCI or
    Printer.
What the heck is going on? Are there some settings that I need to change on the GeForce?
    I am running a Intel 900 mgz, 20 gig with 256 of Ram. I am really confused.

I am assuming that the Via Tech is the USB controller.

Try moving the sound card in a different slot. First, remove it via Device Manager. Shut down computer and then change slots. Reboot and windows plug and play should detecty it and possibly on install it will get assigned a different IRQ.

Any takers on the thought of it being an Internal Modem that is messing up the works by not allowing PCI Steering to make any necessary changes.

May not be but could be.
